About BAZH

BAZH was formed to deliver international transport and customs work as one continuous service, treating the transport route and the customs file as a single process rather than two separate projects.

BAZH was formed to deliver international transport and customs work as one continuous service, treating the transport route and the customs file as a single process rather than two separate projects.

Why BAZH?

In classical Persian, bāzh was the due a caravan paid for the right to travel a road and cross a frontier — the word Ferdowsi uses repeatedly in the Shahnameh, paired with sāv, for the levies rendered on goods in passage. Behind that single word stood an entire commercial system: the roads that carried goods from Khorasan to Mesopotamia and from the southern ports to Central Asia, the staging posts where cargo passed from one caravan to the next, and the frontiers every consignment had to clear. Then, as now, three questions decided a shipment's fate: which route it would take, where it would change hands, and on what documents it would cross the border. A thousand years on, only the names have changed. The caravan has become the container, the road a corridor, and the old due an import duty — but the problem is the same. We took the company's name from that root because our work is precisely those three parts of the old journey: the route, the cargo and the border.

What we do

Designing international routings and selecting the appropriate mode; coordinating air, sea, road, rail and multimodal carriage; completing customs formalities and clearance; arranging order registration and related permits; and advising on foreign trade before the purchase contract is signed.

How we work

Before any offer, we review the cargo specification and contract terms. If the proposed routing or delivery term imposes unnecessary cost or risk on you, we say so plainly. Our offers break out the cost components, give an indicative transit time and set out the customs considerations for the lane, so the decision can be made on facts.

Customs

Specialised customs clearance and formalities are provided under the management of a licensed customs broker of Iran Customs, covering classification and permits through declaration, assessment and release.

On transparency

We do not publish unverified statistics or claimed track records. What you find on this site is a description of our services and our method. Judging our capability is your call — and a single enquiry is enough to test it.
